Once your application and supporting documents (as described in professional documentation requirements section) have been received; the CMS staff will proceed to verify all pertinent facts and documents that you have submitted. (if by this website, we instantly receive the information and respond to you). If you are applying in person remember to bring in all the documents with you. After the initial verifications are made, your complete file is reviewed by a principal of our company for final approval into our program. Once an approval is made, a credentialing summary with your picture, employment history, professional experience and other pertinent information about you is posted on our interactive website for client selection. This provides you a vast array of exposure to progressive hospitals all across the U.S. that have been carefully screened by CMS and operate in accordance with the highest professional ethics and standards in the hospital industry. Once a hospital selects your application CMS will contact you immediately and present you with a specific Job Offer or Nurse Employment Agreement that specifies clearly all terms, conditions, and benefits of your prospective employment. CMS is a direct employer of Nurses and you may be provided a contract specific to CMS employment. GENERAL CONDITIONS OF EMPLOYMENT:
Your Employment Agreement or Job Offer will include language that you will agree to be responsible to us for all expenses and administrative costs paid by us on your behalf, in the event that you drop out of our program and or you do not fulfill the requirements and terms of Employment Agreement or Job Offer. CMS maintains accurate records of all expenses paid on behalf of each Nurse and these amounts are recorded on an individual ledger of expenses that is part of the Nurse employment file and is always available for your inspection.
At the time of your application you will be given numerous credentialing and immigration forms to sign. If you have applied with us on-line and it is inconvenient for you to visit a CMS office, we will immediately send these to you. These forms include all required forms and tests applications that must be submitted on your behalf, in order to satisfy all conditions of the U.S. Immigrant Visa Program, and state board licensing requirements. It is important that forms be completed immediately, in order that we can effectively expedite and coordinate their submission. You will be contacted by one of our staff upon approval into our program who will work out a schedule with you concerning review courses, test dates, and when particular applications will be submitted. The immigration forms are usually submitted within 48 hours of your acceptance, if we have on hand all the information and signed forms that are required.
CMS directly employs a professional staff of in-house legal experts, who are well versed and up to date on the latest regulations and requirements pertaining to U.S. Immigration. Each step of the legal process is carefully monitored and coordinated between our credentialing team and our legal team to insure an expeditious processing of requirements. All of the filings, responses, Embassy interviews, schedules, and comments are immediately updated on the Nurse Status Report as it happens. At the time of the initial application by the Nurse, CMS obtains signed copies of all the relevant legal forms. If preferred, CMS will work with a Client’s own legal representative and will serve as a liaison and central coordinator of form gathering and support. We do request that Client’s attorney keep us updated on a timely fashion, so that we can maintain updated and accurate account of the legal process on-line. Our legal rate is very competitive and in line with volume related discounts that we pass on to all our Clients. CMS provides rates that are all inclusive and with "unbundled" legal expenses so you can better compare the rate and value of our legal services.
