KNOW AS YOU GO  - NURSE STATUS REPORT  

 

Upon initial approval of your application, you will be notified by a CMS representative who will provide you with your assigned CMS password ID number.  By clicking “Know as You Go”  in the front page directory , you will be able to access the “CMS Nurse Status Report” on-line containing detailed information about your individual immigration and credentialing process.  This report serves as a valuable tool for us to organize and track the current and pending tasks that must be completed as a requirement for INS and the State Board of Nursing where you will be assigned.  The report contains 6 Sections which includes a Time Bar Graph for easy viewing of what has been accomplished and what remains outstanding.

 

SECTION I           IDENTIFICATION & ASSIGNMENT

                                 View projected ETA to U.S., assignment post and date immigration      

                                 authorization is issued.

 

SECTION II    --     ASSIGNMENT REQUIREMENTS

Shows your assigned facility and lists individual State Nurse licensure requirements where you will be assigned.

 

SECTION III   -     IMMIGRATION STATUS

Contains listing of all legal and immigration related forms, when they are filed; date of receipt; date of approval; date resubmitted and comment section; also includes Packet III and Packet IV Embassy related interview dates and comment section.

 

SECTION IV -      CREDENTIALING PROCESS

Lists each “primary” and “secondary” requirement of the credentialing process.  Tracks application dates, test dates, test results, and educational review dates for each requirement and comment section.

 

SECTION V -       U.S. PRE START

Tracks activity from point of arrival – “Meet & Greet” – to start of Nurse employment.  Includes schedule for accomplishing pre-employment requirements of assigned employment.

 

SECTION VI   -    TIMELINE PROGRESS

Bar graph showing projected completion of each credentialing and immigration requirements and a graph of actual completion.
